Palmetto Bay Cuisine was born in 2022 from a big dream, a lot of love, and a serious craving for comfort food that brings people together. Founded by Susie Cannon—a wife, mom of four, and former educational leader—this woman-owned, family-run business is all about flavor, joy, and community.

After nearly 20 years championing students and families across the DC metro area, Susie felt a new calling: to serve up the same care and connection she brought to education, but this time, on a plate.

At Palmetto Bay Cuisine, every meal is a chance to connect—whether it’s a cozy backyard gathering, a high-energy office lunch, or a full-on wedding feast. Susie believes that food should feel like a warm hug, taste like home, and spark a little happiness with every bite.
